The floor area of 5 filing cabinets can accomodate 2 X5 cabinets - doubling the storage capacity available
X5 cabinets feature double sided shelving bays which rotate on a central axis to access either picking face
This allows the operator access to over 10.5 linear metres of filing, without moving, enabling a high filing pick rate
When not in use the cabinet can be locked in the closed position or if required in the open position allowing access to only one of the picking faces

Electronic operation

Individual aisles are easily accessed by pushing the button on the adjacent end panel
Quiet motors drive the mobile bases aside
Gentle controlled movement is ensured as the system is designed to smoothly increase and decrease power at the beginning and end of every operation
Safety sweeps fitted to both sides of each aisle immediately turn off drive power to the specific base when activated. Once the aisle is clear, the system is re-activated simply by pressing the start button on any aisle
Kick bars automatically shut the system down if they detect an obstruction within the aisle
Additional visible and audible warning signals ensure all personnel are aware when the system is in use
Safety systems and operating circuitry are automatically checked on average 30 times a second to ensure 100% correct operation

Maximum storage in the minimum space
Ideally suited to the office environment including bulk storage of archive material and easy access to daily office filing
The mobile shelving units are easily moved by a mechanically assisted hand wheel. Hand operated drives have a carefully matched gear ratio to provide easy movement and are available in a variety of designs
SupaGlide is installed quickly and easily using pre-formed components and does not require fixing to the floor
This eliminates all the construction work associated with conventional systems resulting in minimum disruption to your workplace during installation. Our floor web is laid directly on to your floor or carpet tiles
Ramp allows easy access for users, even with trolleys
SupaGlide has a discrete low profile base to ensure that maximum storage use is made of the room height
Optional central push to lock safety button in the handle immobilises the unit to help prevent accidental closure on users
End panels are supplied in an attractive beech effect finish as standard. Alternatively they can be matched to existing office decor
